DWILENE LINDSEY - President

DWILENE LINDSEY is a native Houstonian and the oldest of three girls. At the young age of 17, she lost her dad in a tragic accident.  It was at that time she began being strengthened and refined in her Christian Faith. Dwilene is the proud mother of three successful grown children and the proud “Meme” of four grandchildren. Dwilene spent most of her time actively raising her three children. She was constantly busy being a “Room Mom”, being actively involved in the youth at her church, and even found time to help run the family businesses.

Dwilene has always carried a passion for helping children in all areas of her life. After her youngest went off to college, she and her best friend took their passion for young people and started their own company, Greek Essentials & Things. Greek Essentials & Things brands and creates apparel for schools, universities, and organizations with a focus on creating a great product and giving back to their clients.

Today, Dwilene is a thriving entrepreneur and an active member in her church and the Houston Project Program (Houston Project Program mentors children in Christ). She is also working on a second college degree. In her free time, Dwilene enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, and hanging out by her pool. Dwilene is committed to helping children discover their purpose and reach their highest potential in Christ.

RENEE WINDSOR - Treasurer

RENEE' WINDSOR is a native Houstonian and co-owner of Greek Essentials &Things. She has been happily married for 31 years and is the proud mother of two grown sons. She is an active member of Houston's First Baptist church and the Houston Project Program (Houston Project Program mentors children in Christ).

Renee' spent 25 years in the corporate world in the Natural Gas industry. She decided in 2003 that the corporate world was no longer for her and followed her dreams in starting Greek Essentials & Things with her best friend. She is currently a successful entrepreneur and has since decided to pursue a business degree to help further her success. In her free time, Renee' enjoys gardening, cooking, and being with friends and family.

During her childhood, Renee' experienced what it is to live in an emotionally unstable home.  Having an alcoholic parent brought inconceivable challenges to her at a very young age. Through her childhood experience, Renee' has developed a passion for children and an understanding of the impact a dysfunctional home has on a child.  Renee's focus is on providing a means to help restore children to be happy and healthy adults.
